  • Actually, two questions: (1) The directions on the Mykos I bought say to use 1/3 cup per plant. Is this the same no matter the size of the plant? If I plant a petunia and a tree, do I use 1/3 on both? (2) What is the life span of the fungus? If I use it to plant a tree, will it still be there one year from now? Five years from now? I realize that's more than 2 questions. Thanks, Arron
    The 1/3 of a cup ratio is usually going to refer to container plants not to in ground plantings. That ratio is 1 pound per cubic foot. But, 1/3 cup would be fine to use as the fungus will still be able to do it's job. As far as applying it goes I would use at least once every three months but using more often is fine. Preferablly you would use it once a week or every two weeks. Feeding the plants or tree with seaweed will obviously help because of all the benefits it has for plants but also it will feed the fungus which will help to keep the population healthy and thriving.
