HID-2 is the newest Sentinel all-digital lighting controller. It's 24 hour digital time clock with battery backup turns on (2) receptacles. Receptacles can be staggered up to 20 minutes apart to allow lights or banks of lights to reach full intensity before igniting the next bank. The user can select a maximum temperature for their growing environment. When the 4 meter remote temperature probe senses this threshold has been exceeded due to failure of cooling systems, the HID-2 will go into safe mode and disconnect power to lighting. A user adjustable hot start delay allows ballasts and expensive lamps to cool off for up to 1 hour if power is interrupted during a lighting cycle.
